Lisa Cushing (founder of Vocal Stylings) is a singer/songwriter with a powerful rock and r&b influenced voice. Her original songs, marked by intelligent, thought-provoking lyrics, have brought her songwriting awards, a publishing contract, and numerous radio, television, and concert appearances.
Lisa is also a sought-after vocal coach, combining an engaging personality and encouraging spirit with a thorough knowledge of voice mechanics, breathing, phrasing and pop/rock/r&b styling. Her approach is to help vocalists free themselves mechanically and vocally to discover more passion, power, emotion and flexibility in their vocal expressions.
